Book Me For A Class or Event

I can sum up Pamela Quinn’s presentation in one word: “Magical!”. I looked up from where I was sitting and participating to see the entire room, 185 people with Parkinson’s and their Care Partners in perfect unison. It was like watching a beautiful ballet or a champion synchronized swimming team. Even more impressive was the fact that none of these people had ever participated in this session before.    –James Trussell, Founder of Georgia Parkinson’s Association

I offer a variety of masterclasses and lectures that address different aspects of living with Parkinson's. If you wish to bring me to your organization or community, please fill out the form below, and I will contact you to work out details.

Practical Coping Strategies: This class uses dance-driven physical instruction to help PWPs move as easily and gracefully as possible. More specifically, this masterclass deals with gait issues, posture, balance, and more. 30 min- 1 hour, depending on depth of explanation. For OT’s, PT’s, patients and caregivers.

Master Dance Class for PWPs: This class expands the movement vocabulary of PWPs empowering them to float, slice, weave, run, walk and more. Participants partner up with each other and learn to work together to create innovative movement solution. Wacky and wonderful music. 1 hr.

The Patient Experience: How do you find and collaborate with a doctor that works for you? What are different ways of thinking about your PD: friend, foe or both?  How do you tell, who do you tell, and when do you tell your friends and family about your disease?  What should you consider when choosing your medication? ALL ADVICE IS EXPERIENTIAL,  NOT MEDICAL.

Reaching Out (workshop for PTs & OTs): This class shows PTs and OTs how to use and integrate dance tools such as cueing systems, imagery, and environment, into your practice. Participants also learn different methods to motivate their patients.
